HOW TO READ THE WATER
A fish must be within ten lane units of the boat for a catch. The nearest eligible fish is checked, so watch its position rather than trying to choose a species from the list.
The boat moves automatically. Wait until a fish is close to its line; there is no steering control to add.
The hook action takes 880 milliseconds and briefly freezes the boat. Let it resolve before trying again.
Closer alignment adds an accuracy bonus. Consecutive catches add a combo bonus; a miss resets that sequence.
Each species begins with its own base value, from 85 points for bluegill to 720 for lake sturgeon.
An exact alignment adds 80 points. The bonus becomes smaller as the gap between boat and fish grows.
Successful catches build a bonus in steps of 26, capped at 130. A missed drop resets the combo.
THE LOCAL BOAT BOARD
Use the game’s SAVE control after a complete voyage. The highest five saved results stay in this browser, with your chosen name, score and catch count.
There is no online account or public ranking. A different browser starts its own board; clearing site data removes the records stored here.

Notice the direction of the boat and the gap to the next fish. On a replay, compare the decision you made, not only the final score.
A FREE BROWSER GAME
No deposits, purchases or cash prizes are involved. The surrounding pages explain the game, its fish and local records. They are not instructions for real-world fishing.
For a control problem, include the page address, browser and action that caused it. The contact form prepares an email for you to review before sending.

No. Each spawn chooses a tier with the original probabilities: common 48%, mid 40%, rare 10% and trophy 2%. Those are per-spawn probabilities, not a promised mix for every voyage.
The voyage ends. Use SAVE LOCAL SCORE to open the final panel, enter a name and choose SAVE. The original board retains the highest five saved scores.
No. The original boat travels automatically and pauses briefly during a hook drop. This edition does not add steering, a pause button or replacement controls.
