Notice direction, then distance
The moving boat supplies the rhythm of a voyage. Watch where it is headed and which fish is coming towards its line. A deliberate wait can be more useful than an immediate drop after the last result.
The boat freezes during each drop. Give that action time to finish, then read the new arrangement rather than assuming the previous picture still applies.
A visible fish is an opportunity
Spawn probabilities do not prescribe a particular set of catches. A common fish in a clear position can support a successful sequence; waiting for a trophy is a choice with no promised result.
Keep the nearest-fish rule in mind when two fish look close together. The game resolves the closest eligible target, not a species selected by its illustration in the journal.
Make one comparison on a replay
Try watching alignment more carefully on the next voyage. Compare how many drops succeed before comparing only the final score. A different mix of fish can change the total even when timing improves.
The game is a compact fictional fishing experience. These notes explain its mechanics and are not instructions for real-world fishing or wildlife handling.
